UPA Completes Large Scale AMI Installation
Utility Partners of America (UPA) today announced that it has successfully completed a large-scale Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) installation project on behalf of an Energy Cooperative located in the Northeastern United States.
During the project, UPA installed AMI network equipment on utility poles located throughout the Energy Cooperative’s service territory and exchanged more than 80,000 electric meters. The project was completed ahead of schedule with the permission of the Energy Cooperative.
