Utility Partners of America, Inc. (UPA) was formed in 1997 to build a leading national utility service contractor and home warranty services company. As AMR conversion and technology changes became more prevalent in the utility industry, UPA foresaw the unfulfilled need for a national service company to master the conversion from old meter technology to innovative electronic technology. In addition, UPA's Home Warranty Services Division provides quality services to several major utility companies and numerous municipality and cooperative customers throughout the United States.

UPA has more than doubled in size and scope every year since its inception while setting quality assurance standards for others in the industry to follow. While expanding its key management staff, UPA also boasts one of the largest permanently employed staff of technicians in the industry.

Along the way, UPA has developed proprietary software for use by our field technicians, developed software interfaces with utility companies, migrated computer operations to a server platform and expanded staff to meet the growing needs of the industry.

Contract scope and size increases, along with accelerated device change-out needs of the major utility companies continually require UPA to refine its processes and procedures to keep ahead of the demand as the industry accelerates growth. We expect these trends to continue for the foreseeable future.
